Описание: Our Favourite Day in Sicily
What began as a simple trip turned into one of our favourite days in Sicily (Italy). Its only a 15 min train journey from Palermo Central to Bagheria Station, Aspra is a 30 min walk from the station. We explored the seaside village of Aspra, stumbled upon Emilio Costanzo (see below) an incredible artist creating sculptures from discarded scratch cards, visited the Anchovy Mueum and discovered the story of the town’s anchovy-fishing heritage, enjoyed some wonderfully kind Sicilian hospitality. Ate Sicilian food in Bagheria and visited the romantic Villa Palagonia, famous for its strange and mysterious monster statues.

Rain, pastries, friendly locals and amazing surprises – this day had it all.
