The video starts with power applied to the oven heater. One frame is shot every 24 seconda and playback is 10 frames per second. This speeds up the viewing speed to 4 minutes per second. Its temperature is measured by an Analog Devices AD590J sensor buried inside the oven.
The first three digits on the voltmeter give the temperature in K. (273.15 K=0° C) The display can resolve 0.01 K or 0.01° C. Initial temperature is 299.79 K or 26.64° C. Initial oven power is about 12 Watts. This decreases to 2.88 W when it stabilizes at an operating temperature of 356.10 K or 82.95° C.
The oscillator is supplied with continuous power and dissipates about 480 mW. The frequency counter displays the frequency near 10 mc. A hand made note is displayed after the oven reaches 356 K. (83° C). Oven power is removed at that point and it starts to cool. It takes about an hour to cool down to 304 K which is 31° C.
