Hello there my historical railroad fans.
let me take you all for a ride aboard the quirky Galloping Goose that you can ride at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park California.
This railroad artifact is known as Galloping Goose #3 and it originally ran mail and passenger service for the Rio Grande and Southern Railroad in Colorado from the 1930's up until the railroad shut down in 1952.
in 1953 Walter Knott purchased Goose number 3 and moved it to Buena Park. The Goose number 3 has been taking visitors for excursions around the western half of The Farm since then.
