Shekhar Sen is one of the most talented artists that India has ever produced. His father (late) Dr Arun Kumar Sen, Vice Chancellor of Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalay, Khairagarh, and mother (late) Dr. Aneeta Sen, were both renowned classical singers of Gwalior Gharana. Naturally, young Shekhar was exposed to art at a very tender age.
In this video, Shekhar Sen speaks on Dada Burman's composition style, adding that Dada could communicate with his listeners through his songs, and, his composed songs took the story forward.
