Hey guys, join me today as I make a tasty quick and easy stovetop mac and cheese that can be ready in minutes. With all the cheesy goodness of a baked macaroni and cheese you won't be disappointed! Thanks for watching and take care!
Ingredients:
3 and 1/2 Tbsp Butter
3 Tbsp Flour
2 cups of Milk
2 1/2 cups of Water
2 and 1/2 cups of Elbow macaroni
3/4 cup of Mozzarella cheese
1 and 1/2 cups of Cheddar Cheese, Colby, etc
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Ground Mustard
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat, add flour and cook for about 1 minute. Add 3/4 cup of the milk and stir till it makes a slurry like mixture. Add the water, seasonings, macaroni and stir. Allow to come to a boil, pasta should be tender even though sauce may seem thin. Take off heat, add the cheese and stir. Add salt and pepper to taste, sauce will thicken. ENJOY!!!!
