Here is another video on column casting.
Once Shoe marking is done, columns are casted to permissible height.
The process includes,
1. tying of lateral ties and columns rebars.
2. setting up the column box.
3. concreting.
points to be noted during column casting:
Minimum lap length of column rebars should be 45 times the dia of reinforcement bar.
Hook angle of lateral ties (rings) should be 135°
*Column box size should be set exactly as the column size.
*while concreting, proper compaction should be done.
Lapping of column reinforcement should not be given in same position
Ensure column box is truly vertical bothways before and after concreting.
