This video walks through Ghost's "Automate Anything" page at quantcrawler.com/automate-anything — the tool built specifically for traders who already have a strategy or indicator they trust and just need an automation layer added, without switching to one of my built-in strategies.

How it works. Ghost turns TradingView alerts (or alerts from any charting platform, as long as a webhook can be sent) into live broker orders. You tell the Alert Format Translator what your current alert message looks like — plain text or JSON, your specific long/short/exit keywords, whatever fields your setup uses — and it hands you back the exact message format to paste directly into your alert's message box. If your current format isn't supported yet, you submit a request through the same page and I typically add support within 24-48 hours.

What Ghost already handles out of the box. Market and resting limit entries, long or short, with optional per-alert quantity control. Stop loss and take profit levels sent directly in the alert payload. Exits and scale-outs. Position management. A test mode so you can confirm your alert routes correctly before it ever touches a live account. Timing guards including custom trading hours and session-close flattening — important clarification here: if you set a time filter, Ghost will refuse to open NEW positions outside that window, but it will always honor an exit signal regardless of the time filter, so you're never stuck unable to close a position you're already in.

The request process, mechanically. Your custom format request needs real examples attached — the more detail on your exact alert structure, the faster and more accurately I can build support for it. I will only decline a request if fulfilling it would require removing or breaking functionality that other users depend on — and even then, we usually find a workaround rather than a flat no. Once a request is submitted, it typically goes live within 24-48 hours.
