This documentary is for those seeking recovery information. When I was seeking it all I could find was bad and I am hoping to be able to post positive and truthful information for anyone contemplating this surgery, however, no matter what the results I will tell you how it goes for me.
I am a 55 yr old dog groomer of 38 years. I developed stage 2 repetitive motion arthritis and within one year I was stage 4 with bone spurs. My surgeon removed rice grain size to pea size fragments, in addition to the actual bone removal.
My intervention message:::
I own a small business (pet grooming salon) and I was sitting in my office at home, one week before my surgery when my phone rang. I didnt recognize the number but answered anyway. The person said,"Ummm..is this A Paw Spa?" Confused because this was my cell phone number, I answerd,"No but I own A Paw Spa and I can help you, Im just confused because this is my cell phone." He told me that he had dialed my business number and didnt know how he got my cell phone number but continued with why he was calling. He needed to cancel his appointment. I told him that was fine but that I was having hand surgery in a week and if he wanted in before that it was best to reschedule. He said,"Oh I just had hand surgery 3 weeks ago". I said, "Really what kind of surgery did you have?" He responded,"CMC Anthroplasty surgery and gave a brief description of the surgery type." I was quiet and then replied,"Now I know how you got me on my cell phone, I needed to talk to you!" Then he was quiet. I said I am having that surgery in a week and have been so scared that I wanted to cancel, can you please tell me of your experience?" Lets just say, he gave me a great review of his experience on all levels and that was what I needed to go through with my surgery. I had prayed for a sign from God and that was my loud shout from heaven that God Himself sent to me. I could not believe in all my life that I got such an obvious reply from my Lord!
