Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Gujarat's Saurashtra region. PM visited Devbhoomi Dwarka, where he performed pooja at Beyt Dwarka Temple and went underwater to pray at Krishna's Submerged Dwarka. PM tweeted, saying that the experience offered a rare and profound connection to India's spiritual and historical roots. PM also inaugurated developmental projects worth over Rs 4000 crore in Dwarka. In his Mega Vikas push, the Prime Minister also inaugurated India's longest cable-stayed bridge, Sudarshan Setu. PM also visited Rajkot, the city where he got his first electoral victory in 2002, and unveiled developmental projects worth over Rs 48,000 crore. He also inaugurated 5 new AIIMS facilities across the nation from Rajkot itself. These new AIIMS facilities are in Rajkot, Bathinda, Raebareli, Kalyani, and Mangalagiri.
