Ludovico Einaudi - Nightbook piano cover

Описание: After almost one entire year, finally another recording. Oh man, I need to do this more often.

Once again, I've been playing this piece for well over a year, and I've been meaning to record it for about as long. It's not the hardest piece I've learnt, but it's probably my current favourite to play.

For once, I managed to do the recording in one take. This video has no cuts in it at all, which I'm really proud of. :D There are a few mistakes, sure, but nyar. They're not big enough to warrant retakes, especially as I find playing the same song a few times in a row extremely dull and my playing just gets worse.

The piano is a Kawai KDP80, and my god do I love it. I bought it because I had been living in my flat as a student for a few months with no piano, and my fingers had withdrawal. Every day I was just itching to play, and ended up forking out the cash. While trying out different pianos in the shops, I found that I preferred the feel of this piano to some double its price. I still play my upright stringed piano, but it's just not worth it to move it into a student flat/house that I'll be moving out of again soon (having already left the aforementioned flat).

I'm not sure what happened with my last video, Divenire. If you look at the stats on it, the number of views just starts shooting up from a few months ago and hasn't stopped. I think it must have suddenly become higher ranked on the search results. I don't feel as though I deserve the viewers I'm getting, but I do love receiving the comments now and then.

I'm not sure what recordings are to come in the future. I've been playing some tracks from the game Bastion, but they really need the vocal track to go with them. Someday, when the house is empty, I may attempt recording my voice. I hold absolutely no hope for it though. The chance of it ever making it up here is roughly zero.
