पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने राज्यसभा में राष्ट्रपति के अभिभाषण पर धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव की चर्चा के दौरान संबोधन दिया. इस दौरान पीएम मोदी ने विपक्ष पर तीखा हमला बोला. पीएम मोदी ने अपने भाषण में कांग्रेस से लेकर आम आदमी पार्टी और तृणमूल कांग्रेस तक, पूरे विपक्ष को एक ही तराजू में तौलते हुए उनकी नीतियों, कथनी और करनी पर सवाल उठाए और सरकार की उपलब्धियों को मजबूती से सामने रखा. हमेशा की तरह इस बार भी पीएम मोदी ने व्यंग्य और शेरो-शायरी के जरिए विपक्ष पर कटाक्ष किया, जिससे सदन का माहौल राजनीतिक रूप से और अधिक गरम हो गया. प्रधानमंत्री के लगातार हमलों से असहज हुआ विपक्ष उनके संबोधन के दौरान सदन से वॉकआउट कर गया.
