Breaking: Saudi Arabia Condemns Iranian Attack On US Embassy In Riyadh; Embassies Shut Across Gulf

Описание: Saudi Arabia has expressed its strongest rejection and condemnation of what it calls a treacherous Iranian attack that targeted the United States Embassy building in Riyadh. The Kingdom stated that 'the repetition of this cowardly and unjustified attack blatantly violates all international norms and laws including the 1990 Geneva Convention and the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations which grant immunity to diplomatic premises and personnel even in case of armed conflict.' Saudi Arabia emphasised that despite its affirmation that it will not allow its airspace or territory to be used to target Iran, the repetition of Iranian behaviour will push the region towards further escalation. The Kingdom reiterated its full right to take all necessary measures to protect its own. Multiple US embassies across the region have been affected, with facilities in Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Baghdad, and Peshawar facing closure, evacuation, or suspended operations.
