The Lakers expect to re-sign Anthony Davis during free agency which means they will need to get a quality player on the mid-level exception. Could they bring in another veteran big like Marc Gasol or Aron Baynes. Both can stretch the floor by hitting 3-pointers and would add some toughness. Kyle Korver will be 40 years old next season, but he’s still an elite 3-point shooter. Will the Lakers add Korver on a 1-year deal?

Lakers MLE Targets include a pair of wings starting with Paul Millsap. Millsap could make more money elsewhere, but if he wants to chase a title, he could sign with the Lakers on the mid-level exception. Jae Crowder is another intriguing option who is a quality 3-and-D player. The Lakers will likely move on from Rajon Rondo after this season which means they will need a backup PG.
