How to store ginger, garlic and tomato etc | ادرک لہسن ٹماٹر وغیرہ کو سٹورکریںHere are easy and practical ways to store ginger, garlic, tomatoes, and other vegetables so they stay fresh longer.

Ginger (ادرک)
Short-term (1–2 weeks):
Wash, dry completely
Wrap in paper towel
Keep in airtight box in fridge
Long-term (2–3 months):
Peel & cut into pieces
Store in freezer bag (freezer)
Use directly while frozen
Garlic (لہسن)
Whole garlic:
Keep in a dry, airy place
Do NOT refrigerate whole garlic
Garlic paste:
Grind garlic
Add 1–2 tbsp oil
Store in glass jar in fridge (2–3 weeks)
Freezer method:
Freeze garlic paste in ice tray
Use cubes when needed
Tomatoes (ٹماٹر)
Fresh tomatoes:
Keep at room temperature
Place upside down (stem side down)
Do not refrigerate unless fully ripe
Long storage:
Make tomato puree
Add little oil
Store in fridge (7–10 days)
Freeze for 2–3 months
Store in dry, cool place
Keep away from potatoes
Do not store cut onions openly
Cut onion → wrap & refrigerate (2–3 days)

Store in dark, cool place
Never refrigerate raw potatoes
Keep away from onions

Wash, dry fully
Wrap in paper towel
Store in zip bags or boxes in fridge
