This is an amazing testament to One Mans Wilderness adventure.
Inside the cabin is the way it was when Dick Proenneke left it, most all of his original tools, clothes, hand made items are still at the cabin and it is meticulously cared for by the National Park and volunteers.
One of the main reasons we went to Alaska was to see Dick Proenneke's Cabin after reading and watching "Alone in the Wilderness- the story of Dick Proenneke"
