Are we forgetting that there is a crisis in the health sector? President Uhuru Kenyatta appeared to dash any hopes of a peaceful resolution to the health workers strike, in his new year’s speech, indicating that the government does not have the money, to meet their demands.
The doctors have stayed away for nearly a month now, and even longer into the new year. Their union said they will only go back, when the collective bargaining agreement is implemented in full.
