Frostdrake is a map like you've never seen before. It features a large, one-staged giant tower that is guarded by a frost dragon. The key is simply to destroy the dragon and cure the world of zombies.

The map has many choke poins that are really tense and delivers its gameplay in a fresh and reviving way, especially in 2015 where zombie escape is experiencing a downfall in population (at least on Counter-Strike: Source).

I have to admit though that the map is very long, and except for the start/bottom of the map, the whole tower feels the same. It's cool that it varies between outside and inside areas, but in the end the texturing is pretty much the same all-around which can make multiple rounds feel repetitive visual-wise.

Also, right now I think the battle with the dragon is a little tad too easy and doesn't last long enough. For some reason Luffaren chose to go the simple way this time around, compared to all his previous boss battles; predator in particular which is still the most awsome boss in the whole saga of ZE.
However, considering that he had a deadline, polishing out extra dynamics to the bossbattle would seem to be a difficult task, preferring to go for the secure rather than the risky, which is something I personally would have done as well!

In any event, it's an absolute recommendation!

General info in-game:

All models are HD (World views). This for the quality of the game, as the standard models are very undetailed.
AUG (Bullpup) Is the only skin that is not default, but it is the only HD skin I could find that almost matches the original one.
Desert Eagle and grenades are same model but another skin.
Both CT's and T's packs are different, they are very highly detailed models. Again because of the poor standard quality
At last, the in-game options are all highest, except for Anti-aliasing, which is x4 instead of x8 for faster performance.


GAMEPLAY MODE: Zombie Escape

Zombie Escape is a Source Mod that runs in CS:S and CS:GO. The goal is to escape as a team (CT's) from the infected (T) that get randomly chosen each round. During the escaping attempt, random and fixed events may happen that reward special items to aid in pushing back the zombies. If the team succeeds in surviving, they win and the zombies are slayed.

If the opposite is true, all humans will become infected and all hope is lost! Make sure to bring good teamwork to the table as you'll need it to overcome some of the harder challenges such as boss battles and giant zombie hordes.
