Skills4Retail is an EU-funded initiative designed to elevate the skills and competencies of retail professionals. Our mission is to support the sector’s transition towards a more digital, green, and resilient ecosystem. We are actively developing a new Retail Skills Strategy and VET Training Programme to address the urgent and emerging skills needs in areas such as digital proficiency, environmental sustainability, and resilience. Our approach focuses on training new talent through VET Schools and Higher Education Institutions, and reskilling the existing workforce via work-based learning and short-term modular courses. The programme is market and industry demand-led, continuously adapting to meet the evolving needs of European retailers. Through our efforts, we aim to enhance long-term growth, competitiveness, and sustainability in the retail sector.
