Context: One day, when walking back to the castle, little Mario (he and Luigi are about 7-8 here) finds Luigi badly injured next to a tree due to some bullies. Not knowing what to do, he picks up his brother and takes him back to the castle with him so that a younger Toadsworth can help. Mario tells Toadsworth about how he feels like he failed as a brother, and Toadsworth gives him advice.
