On October 1st, 2022, Rasheem Carter called his mother to tell her he was having issues with a coworker. Then, the 25-year-old black man disappeared under strange circumstances. His family immediately embarked on a frantic search effort that led to the discovery of his lifeless body in the countryside of Taylorsville. They claim his was a modern-day Mississippi lynching.
