WASHINGTON DC - U.S. President Donald Trump awards the Medal of Honor to three U.S. Army soldiers.
The US military says a fourth service member has been killed in action since the start of the operation against Iran. The announcement came after CENTCOM announced yesterday that thee soldiers had been killed and five were seriously wounded. “The fourth service member, who was seriously wounded during Iran’s initial attacks, eventually succumbed to their injuries,” it said. “Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing,” it added. The US military on Monday said the three F-15 fighter jets that crashed in Kuwait earlier today were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defences during active combat. It said that all six crew members ejected safely and are in a stable condition.
