Another awesome experience, my second Distinguished Gentleman's Ride ever. Had some nice chats. This ride out also in memory of Cees van 't Wout. Don't know him personally, but he seemed like a good bloke. He also managed to top the Leaderboard in the Netherlands with almost 8K raised. Pretty cool! :D
So my first ride was actually a solo ride, because of COVID19. Last year I participated in the DGR of Nijmegen. This time, Rotterdam. Next year, who knows, Amsterdam? :]
Unfortunately, I didn't film the first part of the ride. I was so sure of myself that I pushed the recording button... Seems I did not. :( Well, at least the battery didn't die on me like last time, so I have more footage than last year’s DGR. :P
I'm just glad not all was lost and found the second part of the ride. This glide starts at the RDM-kade, through the Maastunnel (minute 21:10) and ends at the Van Nelle Factory.
Great riders by the way. No abrupt breaking... Always nice to have riders around you with clear intentions. Thumbs up! :D
