Located in the Minato Mirai district of Yokohama, the CupNoodles Museum opened in September 2011 to commemorate Momofuku Ando, the founder of Nissin Food Products and the inventor of the world’s first instant noodles.

The Yokohama CupNoodles Museum is the second of its kind to open in Japan, following the original location in Osaka. While a museum previously operated in Hong Kong, it closed permanently in early January 2026.

The four-story building features a variety of attractions, including exhibitions, a theater, hands-on workshops, a park area, a food court, and a museum shop. Admission to the facility is ¥500.

Through interactive exhibits and workshops, the museum emphasizes the importance of creative thinking as a foundation for new inventions and discoveries.
