In this video, we (Rhea Gulati and Raghav Saluja), IIM Lucknow PGP’27 students, break down a complete 9-month CAT 2026 roadmap into 4 clear phases—so you know exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to measure progress.

What you’ll learn in this video:

CAT exam pattern overview (sections + question distribution + marking)

The 9-month plan split into 4 phases:
Phase 1 (Mar–May): Foundation + consistency
Phase 2 (Jun–Aug): Syllabus completion + sectionals + start mocks
Phase 3 (Sep–Oct): Performance maximization + mock-heavy strategy
Phase 4 (Nov): Final revision + error minimization

Daily non-negotiables (reading + DILR sets + Quants practice)

When to start mocks + how often

The most important part: mock analysis (what to track, what to fix)

Phase-wise focus (quick snapshot):

Quants: Arithmetic + Algebra first (major share), then the remaining topics

VARC: Daily reading + RC practice + VA drills (timed)

DILR: Build solving stamina first, then grind hard sets and improve “set-breaking” ability

Mocks: Start light → go heavy, with deep analysis (score is a byproduct)
