With revolutionary solutions for a variety of tasks, such as supply chain optimization, financial forecasting, human resources, cybersecurity, customer relationship management (CRM), and strategic decision-making, AI has completely revamped the global business landscape. According to Deloitte (2024) and IBM (2024), this advanced technological development comes with a serious ethical issue: the displacement of human labor through involuntary layoffs. This paper considers the ethical dimensions of AI adoption using four major ethical theories: Consequentialism, Deontology, Virtue Ethics, and Social Contract Theory, in concert with Dominican values of Justice, Compassion, Truth, Partnership, and Community.
