Welcome to Day 9 of Ten Days of Prayer 2026 under the theme UNLEASHED.

Led by Sr Sonja Thompson, today’s message invites us to see people as Jesus sees them and to care for the forgotten, the needy, and the overlooked with Christlike compassion.

Drawing from Acts 3:1–10, we reflect on how Peter and John—filled with the Holy Spirit—noticed, stopped, and acted when they encountered a man in need. Their compassion flowed not from routine religion, but from a heart transformed by Jesus.

Together, we explore:

How Jesus identifies Himself with the poor, hurting, and forgotten

Insights from Ellen White remind us that every kind act done for the needy is accepted by Jesus as if done to Himself, and that personal ministry, empowered by prayer and love, will not be without fruit
