TJ is assigned to a Violent Fugitive Task Force, with the US Marshalls, who are assigned to track down the most violent of criminals. In December 2020, TJ and other members of his task force were attempting to apprehend a suspect for attempted murder, when the suspect opened fire, shooting TJ multiple times. TJ survived the incident and shares his story of the horrific incident that unfolded that night and his recovery process.
