Another unit found from the trash, at first I thought battery is ok because it can power so I go ahead disassemble, clean and assemble but after charging for some time it only work for 40 seconds. So the reason this unit was scrapped because of low battery life. I ordered new exact specification battery which cost me $21 and carefully solder to the unit. The battery replacement fixed the issue. After full charge the unit is working as normal.
Required:
Spot welder
Screw Driver
Long nose plier
Battery (LGDAHD21865) cost me $21.
Disclaimer: Perform this repair at your own risk touching any internal parts can cause electric shock!
Not advisable to use soldering iron on these batteries, at the time of repair I don't have the spot welder so I am doing this at my own risk but I make sure that the soldering is as quick as possible to limit the transfer of heat.
