While driving a Lyft passenger through the back roads of Monticello, Georgia, I chose the inside roads instead of the highway—and what I saw made me think deeply.
Tall trees. Fresh air. Calm wind. Natural beauty everywhere.
Georgia didn’t stay green by accident. Trees are protected, replanted, and respected. They clean the air, slow the wind, support rainfall, and preserve life.
In many parts of Africa, we cut trees carelessly—without replanting, without planning, and without thinking long-term. Then we wonder why rainfall patterns change, why heat increases, and why land becomes dry.
This video is not an attack, but a conversation we must have.
If we want rain, clean air, and a healthy future, we must protect and replace what we cut.
DISCLAIMER:
This video is shared for educational and awareness purposes only. It reflects personal observations made while traveling through Georgia and is not intended to insult, attack, or demean any country, culture, or people.
The discussion about tree cutting and environmental care is meant to encourage responsible land use, replanting, and long-term thinking, not blame. Different regions face different economic and environmental challenges, and solutions require cooperation, education, and policy—not finger-pointing.
The goal of this video is simple:
protect nature, protect rainfall, and protect the future.
Nature gives back what we invest in it.
🌳 Protect trees.
🌧️ Protect rainfall.
🌍 Protect the future.
