We booked a desert safari tour with Arabian Adventures which took us from Dubai into the Arabian desert in a 4x4. Our adventure started with thrilling dune bashing! It's great fun racing up and down the huge sand dunes in our Land Cruiser and we even stopped to see some desert wildlife like oryx and gazelles.

After that we tried sandboarding which is basically just sliding down the sand dunes on a snowboard and it was so much fun! Finally we got to experience a camel ride which is something you just HAVE to do on a desert safari! It was another great experience and easier than we'd anticipated.

We finished our day with a break in a traditional Arabian Bedouin desert camp. It's important to note that many desert safari experiences include lunch or a belly dancing show at the desert camp, but our specific tour didn't. We headed back to Dubai in our 4x4 after what was an amazing day. We really enjoyed our Arabian Adventures Dubai desert safari and it's definitely something we recommend everyone should try!
