Hello, here is a quality clock originally offered as a kit or assembled as advertised in a 1973 Popular Electronics Magazine. It is called a MITS DC-6 (Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems) and was $99.50 assembled back in 1973 dollars!! This one uses a National Semiconductor MM5313 clock chip which seems to be an early version as it is ceramic. It has a 1972 date code. Large scale integration (LSI) was a huge advancement around this time. The MM5313 like the MM5314 (more commonly used) both did not incorporate an alarm. Mostek did have a chip at this time that did. It was the MK5017A and was used in the Heathkit GC-1005 also available during this time.
For whatever reason the documents lost clarity in the movie maker program and if you need the actual images, let me know. Some are online already. I am looking for original builder instructions or manual for this unit. Thank you, Jim
