In this step-by-step tutorial, I’ll show you how to craft and build a bloomery to turn quartz into glass. This includes crafting fireclay, making firebricks, baking them in a pit kiln, assembling the bloomery, and properly firing it.
Be warned: the bloomery is single-use and must be broken to retrieve your glass. You’ll only recover about half of the materials used to build it.
