Pucker Gallery Artist Tomoo Hamada, Isaka International Limited Gallery Director Koi Isaka, Scholar and Professor Andrew Maske, and Pucker Gallery Director Bernie Pucker, with the aid of friend and translator Mugi Hanao gathered on 22 June for a lively discussion on the opportunity and the challenge of Mingei tradition in 2021. In addition to our discussion we shared a private tour of the Shoji Hamada Memorial Mashiko Sankokan Museum and got an up close looks at significant works by the Hamada family.
