Mantua: Where the Mincio meets the Po | Italia Slow Tour

Описание: [ ENG ] Governolo (Mantua) is exactly where the river Mincio flows into the river Po. People had to pay some fees to the Gonzaga Family, guarding the whole territory of Mantua, to be admitted to the navigation of the two rivers. The Mincio river was so huge and strong that needed groups up to 20 men to deal with its currents.

[ ITA ] Governolo (Mantova) è il luogo esatto in cui il fiume Mincio confluisce nel Po. Un tempo per avere accesso alla navigazione dei due fiumi si pagava un pedaggio alla Famiglia Gonzaga, a guardia dell'intero territorio di Mantova. Il Mincio era così ampio e forte che richiedeva gruppi fino a 20 uomini per affrontare le sue correnti...
