the pre-awards show at the annual ‘GRAMMY Awards‘, at this year’s event will feature an live performance from a heavy band .. which they have not done in the past ... the band Spiritbox are scheduled to perform at that ceremony, which will begin airing February 1st at 12:30 pm PST 3:30 pm EST from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

The band are currently on their third nomination this year, with their song “Soft Spine” up in the Best Metal Performance category. They’re once again up against hard competition in that category, with the following songs also nominated:

Dream Theater – “Night Terror“
Ghost – “Lachryma“
Sleep Token – “Emergence“
Turnstile – “Birds“

Suicidal Tendencies have now confirmed their new drummer is Xavier Ware (Sweet Dream, etc.). He fills the position that was left when Jay Weinberg quit the band .. .there is a new post out from Suicidal Tendencies, see below.. Ware‘s role will also extend to some extracurricular activities with the band as well as he has already laid down some tracks for the ... Cyco Miko project.

get set for a new and 12th album from.... Foo Fighters and it should be out later in 2026 .... frontman Dave Grohl confirmed the news while onstage on January 24th, in Launceston, Australia. During a break in the set, Grohl talked to the audience and said that the band would be returning to Australia/New Zealand before his next birthday in January of 2027.

and then he teased “and we might have whole new record of f*cking songs that we just finished the other day” .... stay tuned for more info and this would be the follow up to 2023’s “But Here We Are”..
