EMPACT REACH LBG, in collaboration with CENTRAL AFLAO HOSPITAL, successfully organized a Free Medical Screening for residents of the Denu community in the Volta Region of Ghana, on Friday, 24th “Pink October” 2025, from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm.
The outreach focused on promoting preventive healthcare by offering 148 community members of all ages (119 females and 29 males, consisting 4 Persons with Disabilities), the opportunity to check and improve their health at no cost. This initiative contributed to improved health awareness and access to basic medical services within the community.
This video, shot and edited by Mr. Joshua Sade (0248591377/0541778477) and Ms. Bless Senaza, highlights moments from the screening, community participation, short interviews, and the impact of accessible healthcare.
The interviewees, respectively, were Hon. Israel Bossman, Assembly Member for Denu; Mr. Edmund Adzakwadwo, Public Health Officer at EMPACT REACH LBG; Pln. Reginald Adjei, Founder, Executive Director, and CEO of EMPACT REACH LBG; and Mad. Elizabeth Ahiamadjie, Hospital Matron of Central Aflao Hospital.
