Описание: As former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan quit the Congress on Monday, senior party leader Jairam Ramesh took a dig at him, saying, "These betrayers don't realize that their exit opens up vast new opportunities for those whose growth they have always stunted."

Chavan resigned from the party on Monday, in another setback to the opposition alliance INDIA bloc, months ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. This development comes days after senior Maharashtra Congress leaders Baba Siddique and Milind Deora quit the grand old party.
