In this video, we answer the question, "How Much Water Does My Sprinkler / Irrigation System put out?".

Here is an overview of the process if you want to read it first, but I will go through each step of the process in more detail…

STEP 1 - Place the cups in the ground in an area representative of the lawn's irrigation system.

STEP 2 - Run the irrigation for 15 minutes. Measure and record the amount of water in each individual cup. Move the cups and repeat.

STEP 3 - After several sample measurements have been recorded find an average and multiply by four. This will give you the amount of water output (in inches) per hour of watering.
