How to associate your custom object

Associating custom objects can make organizing and connecting key information much simpler. In this video, we’ll show you how to associate your custom objects for a more streamlined CRM experience.

1. Log into your HubSpot account.
2. Click on Settings and navigate to your Custom Object.
3. Click on the Associations tab.
4. Click Create New Association and select the object you want to associate with your custom object.
5. Use the Object Association drop-down to enable new associations.
6. Click on the Create and Configure dropdown and select Set association limit. (Here, you can set a limit on the number of associations or leave it at Many.)
7. Click on the Create and Configure dropdown again, and select Create and configure label limits.
8. Select the Association Object and the Label. (Again, you can limit the association or leave it at Many.)
9. To reverse the association, click on the Reverse option.

By associating your custom objects, you’ve created a well-organized and connected HubSpot CRM, making it easier to manage your data relationships.
