Cutting a Vodka Bottle Into a Highball Glass (Using a 1969 Bottle Cutter)

Описание: Turning a Gallant Vodka bottle into a heavy highball glass with a vintage 1969 bottle cutter. Cutting bottles, sanding glass, and seeing if this reckless DIY gadget can actually make a usable cocktail glass.

The bottle features a horse, so a High Horse cocktail was the logical move.

The cutter I’m using is from 1969. Pre-DIY boom. Pre-YouTube tutorials. It’s not polished. It’s a snapshot from when tools were still being figured out in public.

Industrial.

Tools & Materials Used:
• Vintage bottle cutter (1969). They don’t make them like this anymore. The exposed heating wire alone tells you why. Modern versions usually score the glass and then use boiling water to finish the break. Here’s a good version that uses that method: https://amzn.to/46zCX7t
