The Starmer Government has just approved the Super Chinese Embassy on the former Royal Mint site bought by China in 2018. This will create Europe's largest embassy at 20,000 square meters with refurbished historic buildings and deep basements making it a virtual intelligence hub. 

Controversy over the project centered on its location over sensitive fibre optic cables carrying City of London data. Commentators state the site will be used to spy on Britain, access all communications into the City of London and millions of personal emails.

Some Conservative MPs have labeled it a security lapse. The Shadow Home Secretary has slammed the decision indicating that Starmer is trading away security in his desperation to appease China?

This decision comes on the back of Starmer's surrender of the strategically important Chagos Islands.

However it was the Tories who sold the plot to the Chinese for their new embassy. And the negotiations on Chagos Islands started under in November 2022 and went on for round after round under the Tories.

Has Britain's political class failed in their duty to put the security of the British people first. And why is the UK Kowtowing to the Chinese Government instead of treating China as an important but equal economic partner.
