Описание: In this two part video we will look at a new and advanced (SMART) power supply from Phoenix Contact, intended for industrial use and anywhere that preventative maintenance is desired.

The QUINT4 comes in 6 variants
24V 5A, 1 and 3 phase
24V 10A 1 and 3 phase
24V 20A 1 and 3 phase

All have adjustable output through a built in control panel and can be adjusted up to 29.5V to compensate for line drop under load or other reasons.
They also feature an NFC interface allowing many more advanced features like variable fusing(Shutdown under excessive loads) characteristics, startup surge tolerance and intermittent load fluctuations over nominal MAX current

They also feature the ability to work in parallel and signal other systems as to the state of the power supply including a 4-20mA current loop that can be programed for range and which parameter to report in (Volts, Current or Power)

The only con if you can call it that is having to cycle the power to have new parameters take effect after NFC programming, I hesitate to call it that because if you think about it, would you really want the settings to take immediate effect, or would you rather schedule it for an appropriate time and also have the assurance that a mistake in programming can be caught prior to committing to the operational system...
