The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry denies that military aid has been suspended due to the shutdown in the United States. Commenting on an article in Zitelegraf, ministry spokesman Georgy Tikhiy called this untrue. He added that negotiations on a drone agreement between Ukraine and the US are continuing as planned. And deliveries continue. After Democrats and Republicans failed to reach an agreement on government spending, a shutdown occurred, meaning the suspension of the US government. As a result, hundreds of thousands of civil servants were forced to take leave. And the situation remains unresolved. Against the backdrop of the government shutdown, negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation, which arrived in Washington this week, are in jeopardy. Ukraine is offering the US a drone deal, i.e., cooperation in an area where Kyiv has vast practical experience. The supply of American weapons is also on the agenda.
