Warm spells have melted the snow away and left things all slushy.
Still, a dip down to 19F over night opened up some small opportunities.
The shady Southern shoreline on Round Lake was protected from the warm sun all morning, leaving a sliver of hard ice to skate along.
That Opal ice sure GLOWS on a sunny day like this one.
