In Lesson 3, our world-renowned instructors Edwin and Erika Rivera teach viewers how to step up their salsa game with Multiple Cross Body Leads, Double Hand Turn and Turn & Pull steps. They also show budding salseros how to execute moves on both sides of the dance floor. Viewers will enjoy the exciting classic salsa track featured in this video, the joyful “Anacaona,” a hit off José “Cheo” Feliciano’s 1971 solo debut, Cheo. Hailed by Edwin as “one of the greatest salsa singers of all time,” the Puerto Rican-born Feliciano (1935-2014) was beloved for his smooth, baritone vocals—a rarity among salsa artists. In New York, Feliciano got his start singing with the Joe Cuba Sextet; later, he performed with the legendary Eddie Palmieri Orchestra before branching out on his own.
