The Lovely Lads live from the Brunswick in London, Ontario 1994.
An interesting story goes with this track. I went to Woody's house one day to buy some weed. He was always drawing and had his sketchbook open with a cool little drawing and some lyrics. I asked if he wrote it and he said, "Yes." I asked if I could use them in a song and he said, "Sure." I bugged him to finish them for a long time and then got my cousin Laura Lee to finish them so we could finish the song.
Turns out the lyrics WEREN'T his but rather one of those obscure bands you never hear about from somewhere in Texas or some place in the U.S.
So, to the guys whose lyrics we inadvertently used....I hope you like what we did with them!
To Woody....go eat a big piece of S#@T!
