DANCERITES: Deadly Moments of Sydney Opera House's annual First Nations dance Festival

Описание: Since 2012, Dancerites has showcased the beauty of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders' dances and culture.

Each year, Indigenous groups have travelled to Sydney to take over our Forecourt, giving demonstrations of the richness and diversity of Australia's First peoples.
In 2020, due to COVID-19 restrictions, Dancerites successfully took place digitally, allowing more remote communities to join, direct from Country.

Unfortunately, with the pandemic continuing throughout 2021, First Nations communities are amongst the most affected and, therefore the Festival will not happen this year.
Instead, we gathered the Festival highlights, curated by Rhoda Roberts and presented by Beau James.
