10 URBAN SKETCHING Tips! | GOUACHE Plein Air Cityscape

Описание: Here are 10 tips for urban sketching! In this video I go out to a local community garden in my city and paint this cityscape/street scene in gouache and watercolor. We'll cover some basic principles that will teach you urban sketching for beginners. We'll talk about how to draw your scene, after finishing the drawing, moving into sketching with paint, talk about supplies including what colors should be in your palette. I often paint in my sketchbook when I do urban sketching, but today I used a watercolor block. You can use whatever is handy for you. We want urban sketching to be fun and easy. You can sketch with watercolor, gouache, markers, or just a pen or pencil. I also go over some top tips for gouache painting for beginners, that really apply to any painting medium. Follow along and get ready to go on your own urban sketching adventure!
