Disney’s Lookout Cay: It's a LONG HAUL without help!

So here’s something nobody really warns you about when visiting Lookout Cay… that walk. Yes, that walk. When you step off the ship you’re full of energy, ready for the beach — and then suddenly you realize the beach is way farther than it looks. People start walking like they’re headed into a 5K, strollers rolling, kids sprinting… and I’m just standing there thinking, ‘Yeah… no. This is too much for me.’

And that’s exactly why I use a mobility cart. And let me tell you — BEST decision ever. While everyone else is power-walking and checking their watches, I’m cruising along, breeze in my face, enjoying every bit of the view without melting in the sun.

And the crazy part? The farther you go, the prettier it gets. The water turns that perfect Bahamian blue, the trees open up, and suddenly you’re like, okay… this is the magic.

And when you finally reach the beach — that soft sand and crystal-clear water — it all makes sense. Whether you walk it or ride it, Lookout Cay is absolutely worth the journey. But for me? Mobility cart all the way.
