The Aquarium of the Pacific celebrated the grand opening of the Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center on January 28, 2026. Formerly held behind-the-scenes, the new area is now visible for guests to meet and learn about rescued sea turtles in real time.
Featured in the ceremony was a 3-finned green sea turtle that has been under the care of the aquarium since 2025. Once it is nourished back to health, it will return and be released back to its natural habitat for a long and happy life!
